I have an exercise physiology background and have been a cyclist for 30+ years. This app and its developer are serious, and the app’s utility really reflects that. This isn’t a “consumer” grade app that is meant to wow you with silly infographics. Rather, it’s designed for people who are interested in learning about how their heart reacts to training, and to regularly monitor it and learn from the data this app reveals. The developer regularly updates the site and publishes scientific papers about the research that she does on the topic of HRV. There is a bit of a learning curve to use it, but it’s interesting info to learn. The app itself is well designed despite it’s rather no frills nature.
